Project Reflection- Robot Mop 2000

This project was about making a remote control mop to make it more fun or easier to clean with.
The materials that we used were:
                        - Swiffer Sweeper cleaning sheet
                        - plastic rectangle
                        - thick plastic rectangle with holes
                        - 3 rubber bands (2 whole, 1 broken)
                        - 3D printed dome
                        - remote control car
                        - felt
                        - pvc pipe around 1.5 in

The tools that we used were:
                        - 3D Printer
                        - hot clue gun

A challenging part of the project was when the swifter sweeper mop was too heavy so we resolved this problem by making a lighter mop. The most fun part of the project was driving the finished product. We learned many things while making this project. For example, we had to learn how to use 123D Design to make our prototype and the dome. Originally, our remote control mop had a different design. The mop was on the bottom instead of attached to the back and we were not going to use wheels. If we had the opportunity to redo our project, we would make more models of our project. Pictures and videos are on a different post.

Marissa and I worked together on this project. We made a star that light up and plays "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". The most challenging part of the project was when we had to redo all of the code in order to have the lights blink and the song play at the same time. The most fun part of the project was building the star. We cut the cardboard, cut the foam, painted the base and put in the lights. In this project I learned how to make code with sensors, motors, vibrators and LED lights. Programming the code was a great experience for me. If I were to make this again, I don't think that I would change a thing.
